British Library (The)
   La British Library est la bibliothèque nationale du Royaume-Uni, et l’une des grandes bibliothèques mondiales, avec 150 millions de documents dans de très nombreuses langues, et trois millions de nouveaux documents chaque année. Ses catalogues en ligne constituent des bases bibliographiques inappréciables. Signe des temps, en novembre 2000, la British Library met en ligne la version numérique de la Bible de Gutenberg, scannée en mode image à partir des deux exemplaires complets présents dans ses collections.
